THE APPLICATION JOURNEY

Five steps. About six weeks, beginning to end.

Click any step to see what it involves, what you'll need, and what to expect next.

STEP 1 · INQUIRE & TOUR

Come see us — in person or online.

Start with a 60-minute campus tour or a virtual info session. You'll meet a current family, walk the halls, and sit in on a class. No commitment, no sales pitch.

Tours run every Tuesday and Thursday at 10 AM and 2 PM, plus monthly Saturday open houses.

What to bring

  • Your child(ren)We'd love to meet them. Not required, but recommended.
  • Your questionsAnything at all — tuition, curriculum, uniforms, bus routes.
  • A second parentOptional, but many families find it helpful.
  • 30 minutes afterFor Q&A with our principal over coffee.
STEP 2 · SUBMIT APPLICATION

One online form, about 20 minutes.

After your tour, we'll send you a link to the online application portal. The form asks about your child, your family's faith background, and which program you're applying for.

You'll also upload the last two years of report cards and pay a $150 CAD application fee.

Documents you'll upload

  • Last 2 years of report cardsPDF or photo, both semesters.
  • Birth certificate / passportFor record and grade placement.
  • Baptism certificate (if applicable)Optional — families of all backgrounds welcome.
  • Letter of referenceFrom a current teacher or pastor.
  • IEP or medical notesOnly if relevant to your child's support.
STEP 3 · ASSESSMENT & INTERVIEW

A conversation, not a gauntlet.

For Grades 1–12, your child will take a short academic assessment — 30 minutes for elementary, 90 for secondary — covering literacy and numeracy at their current grade level.

Then we'll sit down together, all three of you (or four), for a 30-minute conversation with our principal and an admissions officer. We're looking for fit — in both directions.

What to expect

  • Literacy & numeracy assessmentPen-and-paper for elementary; online for Gr. 7+.
  • Informal classroom visitYour child shadows a current student for a period.
  • Family interviewWarm and conversational. We'll talk faith, academics, hopes.
  • Q&A timeYour turn to ask us anything.
STEP 4 · DECISION

A clear yes, no, or wait — in 7 days.

Within one week of your interview, you'll receive a decision letter by email and phone call from our principal. We give one of three answers: accepted, waitlisted with a path forward, or not a fit at this time.

We don't keep families in limbo. If we're not the right school for your child, we'll tell you — and we'll often recommend a school that is.

Three possible outcomes

  • AcceptedWelcome letter, enrollment contract, and deposit instructions.
  • WaitlistedA clear sense of timeline and likelihood. Never an open-ended maybe.
  • Not a fitSpecific feedback and, often, a referral to a better match.
  • Financial aid reviewIf applicable, runs in parallel with admissions decision.
STEP 5 · ENROLL & WELCOME

From "accepted" to "first day" — we walk with you.

Once you've signed the enrollment contract and paid the deposit, you're in. We'll invite you to our May welcome picnic, pair you with a current buddy family, and send uniform, supplies, and calendar details by mid-August.

Your first day isn't the first day of school — it's the day we start acting like your school.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

The questions we get most often.

Yes — families of all faith backgrounds are welcome, and about 22% of our current students come from non-Coptic backgrounds. We ask only that families respect our Christian identity and that students participate in chapel and religious studies.

Around 72% overall. It varies by grade — Grade 1, 7, and 9 entry points are our most competitive. We prioritize rolling admissions, so earlier applications have more flexibility.

We run routes across Peel Region — Mississauga, Brampton, parts of Oakville and Etobicoke. Bus is $1,950/year. Full route map sent with your welcome email.

In some cases, yes — depending on grade, program capacity, and assessment. We've welcomed ~15 mid-year transfers each of the last three years. Call us; we'll be honest about fit.

Need-based, confidential, and renewable each year. Apply after you've received an admissions decision. Average award is $4,200; maximum is 60% of tuition. About 28% of families receive some form of aid.

We support mild-to-moderate learning differences (e.g. dyslexia, ADHD, mild anxiety) through our Learning Strategies team. We are not a specialized school and cannot accommodate significant behavioral or developmental support needs. We'll be honest with you during admissions about fit.
